Really Good Exposure Review
2nd – 13th September 2025
Following sell-out runs at Soho Rising Festival and Edinburgh Fringe, Megan Prescott’s debut play Really Good Exposure is back in London for an almost two-week stint at Soho Theatre on Dean Street.
The 70-minute-long, one-woman show tells the story of Molly Thomas, who is considering getting into porn. Once renowned as a “child star”, Molly’s acting career peaked in 2009 and after a tumultuous decade, she is giving mainstream success one last shot.
“…the twists and turns Molly’s journey takes are what makes it so powerful, memorable, challenging and profound”
We meet Molly when she’s in primary school, proudly showing off her new dance costume which she was given for her birthday. As she counts down to her sweet sixteenth, Prescott cleverly embodies a childlike energy that was frighteningly believable, endearing and heartbreaking in equal.
And throughout the different stages of Molly’s life, of which there are many, Prescott’s performance was equally impressive. Teamed with thought-provoking dialogue; a steady stream of supporting voice actors who added to the depth of the story; and a constantly changing projection of headlines, dates and insidious group chats, the effect was enormous.
Throughout Molly’s story, the audience laughed, gasped and shuddered, with a lot of head shaking for good measure, demonstrating not only the complexity and cut-throat nature of fame and being in the public eye, particularly when you’re a woman, but also themes of addiction, privilege and control.

I don’t want to say too much for fear of giving it all away as the twists and turns Molly’s journey takes are what makes it so powerful, memorable, challenging and profound.
You have until Saturday evening to catch Really Good Exposure at Soho Theatre but I am certain this won’t be the last we see of it. I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for the next run.
